Let me show you how to use MapShare with the GPSMAP 67i so your family and friends can track you on your adventure.
First, Set Up Your MapShare Page
Go to your Explore.Garmin SOCIAL Page and make sure you have you settings correct, especially make sure you allow people to contact you.
Once that is completed, make sure you send them the email link.
Next, Create a Course & Start Tracking
You can create a route on the Explore.Garmin Map page, but I prefer to create a course using the Explore App. Here is a recent example of me doing this.
First, CREATE the course on the Explore App.
Second, RENAME the course if that is helpful for you.
Third, start navigating by selecting GO.
Now, start hiking and check out some example of what your hike may look like on the Explore App.
Final Thoughts
It’s really that easy, and everyone can follow you, as long as you start tracking.
