My Experience on Two Colorado Trips
I’ve used the Thetford Porta Potti 565E twice now on two fishing trips here in Colorado, so I have firsthand experience on how is works and how it cleans up.
I knew when I purchased this Porta Potti that I wanted one that sat about as high as a normal toilet and hopefully wasn’t so small that it was hard to sit on and take care of business.
I have to tell you how impressed I have been with this Thetford Porta Potti and how well it works, including cleaning it up. Plus when you include using the Porta-Pak, and with the built-in seal in the toilet, how well it does with not letting smells out, plus those blue paks also somehow get rid of the smell. After using the Porta Potti once, I had let it sit in my tent for 4 more days and it never smelled once during that time.
I remember the old days when there was a metal frame with a plastic sack and wow! It sure did smell a lot.
We have come a long way and I’ll only say that I won’t go camping again without this porta potti going with me.
