You can attach the chain to the base of the anchor then zip tie the chain toe end of the anchor for an easy to break your anchor free if it becomes lodged under rocks, tree limbs, or other obstructions.
Attaching the anchor this way, allows the zip tie to hold the anchor in place under typical conditions, but if the anchor gets stuck, you can pull up hard on the anchor rope, snap the zip tie, then maneuver your boat to the other side and pull the anchor free.
