How do you Setup a Kodiak Canvas Tent 10×10 for the first time?

Let’s Look at My Tent Setup
1st – Find a Great Location
Look for a flat spot and clean up the rocks and twigs. It’s also best if you put a tarp down under your tent. It will help protect the bottom of the tent and make it easier to clean up when you’re breaking down the tent.
2nd – Stake Out Your Tent
You can use tent stakes or tent screws. I prefer tent screws, but I’m not completely sold yet that tent screws are best, especially on rocky ground.
3rd – Laying Out the Guy Lines
I like to layout my guy lines and their stakes right after staking the tent down as this helps keep me organized.
4th – Raising the Ridge Pole
Now it’s time to raise the ridge pole.
5th – Install the Upright Poles
Next, install the upright poles and guy lines.
6th – Tighten Up the Guy Lines
Now it’s time to tighten up all the Guy lines. I like to tighten them up a little, then go back around and really tighten them up, keeping an eye on how straight each pole is.
7th – Setup the Window Awning
Don’t forget to set up your window awning.
8th – Enjoy Your Outdoor Adventure!
Final Thoughts
I was able to set this tent up by myself easily, however, it is better if you have two people.
