Initial Thoughts

 

Wow! The packaging the spotting scope comes in is incredible and extremely professional. If the spotting scope is half as good as the packaging, then this is going to be a great device

You’ll definitely need a good tripod as this spotting scope comes in at 64.5 ounces. It does weigh a lot, but there’s a lot of great technology built into this device.

Just as I found with the MAVEN RF.1 Rangefinder, this MAVEN S.1A Spotting Scope is well-made and has some great material that screams well-made.

Follow-up Field Tests

I’m heading out this weekend to test both the MAVEN Rangefinder and this MAVEN Spotting Scope, so stay tuned to see how well they both do in the field and I guarantee you I’m going to find some Elk or Mule Deer to view.
