Here is the Kodiak Canvas Tent Window Awning Assembly instructions and video of how it’s done.
Kodiak Canvas Instructions
My Tent Setup Instructions
First, I would slide the rope through the window awning holes when you attach the Guy lines. This way, you only have to tie a knot at the top of the upright poles once.
- Pound the Guy Line Stakes in the Ground
- Feed the Two Guy Lines through the Window Awning Holes
- Tie a Knot at the End of Both Guy Lines and Hook them Over the Upright Poles
- Loosen the Long Strap and Slide it Down the Guy Line Until it is Tight
- Tighten the Second Strap on the Awning to Finish the Awning Assembly
Check out a few of these photos below for more information.
Final Thoughts
Take a little time before setting up the tent for the first time to make sure you understand how to assemble the window awning and at what time during the tent setup to do it, or you will be tying the Guy line know twice at the top of the upright poles.
